FOUNDER: DR ARIF
Dr. Arif is founding Director of the Water Journalism and Professor of Political Communication at the University.
He was previously Editor of NSN.Asia. His work focuses on changes in the news media, on political communication, and the role of digital technologies in both. He has done extensive research on journalism, Asian politics, and various forms of media activism and diplomacy, and a significant amount of comparative work in Asia and beyond.
LEADERSHIP: QAZI SN, PNP
Qazi Sabah-u-ddin is a journalist with more than two decades of experience in TV, print and digital journalism. He is founding Editor of PNP, a leading news agency. In 2020, he was nominated for the prestigious Media Awards in Pakistan for two of his news stories on Tourism.
Over the course of his journalistic career, Qazi has been in Media Consulting Business at various organizations. Prior to that he led media Initiatives for the various organisations. Qazi has also co-founded start-ups that focused on news literacy.
